About TVS Jupiter : 

TVS Jupiter is a scooter available in 3 variants in India. Its lowest version starts from a price of ₹64,239 (Ex-showroom) and the top version starts from a price of ₹71,464 (Ex-showroom). TVS Jupiter generates 7.3 bhp of power and 8.4 nm of torque from its 109.7 cc engine. Single cylinder engine of jupiter has an automatic Gearbox. Both rear and front brakes of TVS jupiter are drum brakes. This 109 kg scooter is available in 13 variants.

The TVS Jupiter is a 110 cc scooter that competes against the Honda Activa. Of corse, as with all TVS Products, it proves to be a better value than the prevailing industry standards. And, with certain variants like the ZX, and classic series, it also elevates the style quotient.

The jupiter is powered by a 109 cc, fuel-injection, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 7.8 bhp and 8 nm of torque. Its gets fuel-injection, LED-headlamp, smoked windscreen and USB charger in the front mobile storage compartment. It runs on 12 inch rims, both front and rear, which was unique wheel size combination for the indian market when it launched. Another unique feature is the external fuel filler lid which doesnt require the rider to dismount from the seat access the fuel filling lid. It is available with a with staggering 12 colour, and the classic variant offers retro touch with windshield , chrome accents and circular chrome mirrors. The front disc brakes come as standard feature in the classic model and is optional in the top spec ZX trim. Furthermore, the top spec grande variants comes with a few additional feature like a Bluetooth enabled semi-digital instrument console and a unique light blue colour shade to distinguish it from other variants. It alos gets machine-cut alloy wheels are opposed to the cast design ones on the rest of variants. All variants of the jupiter are equipped with synchronised braking system which partially also apply the front brake on the application of the rear brake.

The jupiter has managed to emerge as the top-selling TVS scooter by a large margin thanks to its steller combination of comfort, value and ease of maintenance. It directly rivals the Honda Activa 5G, Hero Maestro edge and Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR.
